Be careful if you get an E-mail saying someone has given you some money on Paypal that you weren't expecting

Been into work today and noticed that loads of "fake" Paypal messages from a Fiona Parrot are doing the rounds saying she has given you 21 quid.

If you click on the link it takes you to a fake Paypal website which then of course you log into and then they have your details!

Just delete the message and never reply as they just send you more.

Thanks for the info Mike,
I had a few of those type of things a couple of months ago, It also helps if you notify or forward it to paypal through the proper site and login so they can try to deal with it

Thanks for this Mike.
We came back from our hols to find on one day some USA company had tried to get a "payment" from us about 8 times times!!

We reported it to Paypal as we had never heard of them let alone bought anything, and thankfully Paypal accepted the claim and we are not out of pocket.

As a general rule, we NEVER follow links in an email if money is involved. We always open a new window and log in the "proper" way!! Much safer!

Thanks for this Mike. I use Paypal regularly so will keep an eye!! :)
