Has anyone lost 2st in 3 months?

I need to lose about 5 stone, and I was wondering if it's possible to lose about 28lbs in 3 months.
Has anyone else done it or is it unrealistic? I've got an event coming towards the end of September and feel really motivated if I can shift a couple of stone...

I did! For my first 3 months I lost just over 2 stone...had a big 2 month break and back on ww in style! Its definitely doable - I also had about 5/6 stone to lose, just keep your eye on the ball and think of the end result :D

It is possible but only if you have a good amount to lose.. My friends has lost (at last weeks weigh in) 3 st 9.5lbs since new year.. But she started with about 13 stone to lose... Its been a tough journey for her but she's determined and doing brilliantly...

i started off with just over 6 stone to lose and i managed to loose over 2 stone in 2 months, so yes it is possible. Good luck :D

Get a ticker set up and you'll be amazed at how the weight comes off! This is easier said but you could do amazing weight loss with shakes but it's not realistic. This is a lifestyle change and chipping away will pay off.

I met someone who hadn't seen me for two months and they commented with surprise the difference- you will do it and everyone here is SO supportive x

hmmm I'd say you could do it, if you have a decent amount to lose and you keep at it without fail for the whole 3 months, exercise plenty, and try make healthy decisions. But thats not an easy task.

Give it a go... but don't get too upset if you miss the target. The fact is you are changing your life for good for EVER and the weight will come off.

Mini goals are great to have, like aiming for your first silver 7 in the next few weeks. makes it feel like its more within reach!

I like ww a lot... its the best food diet by far.. :) The normal losses are anything up to 2lbs a week which i think is great when you get treats.. x

I did, only because I gave birth ;)

I'm sure it's possible, just try not to be too hard on yourself if you don't get the whole 28lb off. Anything is better than nothing and there's always time after the 3 months too. WW is a great system and I really hope you do well with it.

Thanks everyone! I'm not going to be too hard on myself if I don't make it - but it helps to motivate me to know it's possible, if that makes sense!

Had a very good day today, meals planned for tomorrow too.

I lost 27.5lbs in 10 weeks doing weight watchers pp, but saying that I started off at over 18st so had a lot of weight to shift.

I've done it before...lost the better part of 7-stone in 6-months when I was dieting a couple of years back, so it's do-able. But then I was nearly 26-stone at the time, so had plenty of drop. I found it easier, as others have suggested, to break it down into mini-goals, which for me was either to drop a stone or a waist-size. I found the motivation of dropping from a 56-inch-waist down to the 44-inch-waist I'm in now (and hopefully further in future) to be the perfect motivator.

It is totally do-able. I started ww at 15st 7.5lb and 12 weeks later Id lost 27.5lbs, in those 12 weeks I had meal nights and drinks nights out, I used up weeklies each week and did a good bit of walking. If you set your mind to it, it can be done.

Best of luck

I am hoping for the same 2 stone by the 1st week in July, which is 3 months on WW for me. I had two weeks with a slight gain and tbh am expecting one this week, due to having major blow out this week (one day left till weigh in and doubt I can pull it back!!!!) It just means I have to up my game for the next 4 weeks and lose 2.5lb per week to get there! However still doable!

Good Luck with yours
