Second Starter

This is my second day on lipotrim and am a second starter. Did it last year and lost 1stone 12lb in 5 weeks taking me from a 18 to a 14 so it can be done.

Back on it again as I got pregnant aftr 6 weeks on it and had to come off. Had my baby end of January and am back to an 18 again :( - but I tell myself if I hadnt lost the weight before I would probably be even bigger. Glass half full and all that!!:D

Im getting married in April and am sick of being a fatso. I want to get down to a size 12. I know I will never be skinny as Ive always had a big bust and hips but Id like to be slim and curvy:p

Id like people to stop saying "you have such a pretty face and you always dress well" and probably thinking its a shame about your fat ass though :D

Havent told anyone except my mam and my fiance Im doing this as all I'll get is negative comments from my skinny friends about how it cant be good for me - surely decreasing the risk of diabetes (which my mam and dad have) and being able to be more active and to have the confidence to do the things I want is good for my health - but cant explain this to people who have never struggled with weight.

Would love a bit of encouragement and support from people in the same situation xx

Well done for re starting im the same only my partner knows as my mum will just nag me that its not safe but im like well being overweight is not safe anyway gl xxx

Hi there - its my second day of a restart too!! It looks like we're going to have a late summer - so there's still time for us all to get into those summer dresses and shorts!

We can do it girlies!!!

Thanks for the warm welcomes. Its great to know that someones starting with you especially.

Had my first shake today at 12.30 - baby was playing up but have had 1 and half litres of water so far and 2 green teas.

I found last time it was better to leave my shakes until I started feeling hungry as it kind of filled me up then lol.

Yeah I have 5 stone to go but then it all depends on how I look and clothes fit closer to the time - it could be less??!!

Good luck, I'm on second time round - lost 4 st but put it all back on after very stressful time. I have also only told mum and hubby as I got so many negative comments about how it was bad for me.

Hiya Zero! It sounds like you're full of determination with great reasons to lose weight. It's such a shame when others put a downer on the diet. It's not worth arguing with them cos their views are so entrenched but maybe you could say, "I know you don't agree with this diet but I'm trying to do something positive about my weight and, as a friend, I could really do with your support"? If that doesn't work then at least you know you've got a lot of understanding souls on this forum looking out for you. Good luck, hun!:D

Oh yeah negative comments really help!! Anyone ever notice its the skinny ones who are the most negative? Maybe they just dont want the competition :D ha ha

End of day 2 and didnt cheat - except I drank a cup of tea with milk and didnt realise what I did til half way through - oops:eek:

But saying that made a roast beef on sunday and leftovers in the fridge for kids lunches - I swear at one stage I was going to grab it and tear into it like a savage but thankfully I refrained :p

Come on ketosis - us new starters are eagerly awaiting your arrival along with stinky breath......

Hi I'm a second starter too. First weigh in tomorrow after a good week. Do you think that doing it a second time that there is a sense of 'shame' about it. Am sure some people at work who have sussed I'm doing it again are thinking 'why she bothering it obviously didn't work the first time!' - all that sort of stuff.

I did try a couple of months ago to do it half heartedly, but it didn't work and then I remembered why I selected LT in the first place - half measures don't work for me, am an all or nothing kinda gal.

So, I am back - doing well and wanting to lose the bit I put back on and some more. I enjoyed being 12 stone but would like to see how I look at 11stone (might get a bit too wrinkly in the face though!)

As long as I am back to my end weight from being on LT before of 13 stone for my 49th birthday then it'll be fabulous. I'll celebrate my birthday big time and then straight back on the LT train.

Choo choo! Lisa x

No LipoLisa I dont think there is any shame in it - how many people go back to weight watchers ect several hundered times before they finally succeed?
The shame would be in giving up and not doing anything about it.

At least doing this the second time we know where we went wrong and what to do after we lose the weight to keep it down. Im planning on leaving myself with about a stone to lose in 6 months through unislim and exercising after Ive lost my bulk on Lt.

I used to be soooo active with hiking, swimming and soccer but am too embarassed to do anything like that now so Im looking forward to getting back into exercise as well.

Reading this forum anyone that has maintained their weight after LT has done unislim, weightwatchers or something along those lines and when you get to goal you have free membership for life so can weigh in whenever you want.

Anyhow day 3 of lipotrim and I know I shouldnt but couldnt help it and stepped on scales this morning - 5lb down!!!! I know chemists might read differently but for me when I see it coming off it motivates me for the rest of the day.

Best of luck everyone and keep it up - or down :D
