Hi everyone

So after WI on Monday finding out I gained 1.5 I was gutted been good 99% of the week although the week before was terrible food wise but I lost 2lb so wondering if it caught up with me the following week!!!

Anyway I was determined this week to get back on track but slowly falling off the wagon - yesterday had a rare night in with my fiance who decided popcorn/ skittles and ice cream were a plan I know I should have resisted but I didn't :( and then today took our 5 year old son to the park and we all had ice cream :( (cry)

I'm so angry with myself and need to get myself together otherwise I will be a fat bride come October :( even that's not motivating me at the minute

HELP.....................

Don't despair, draw a line under it. Why not count your syns weekly this week and knock off what you've already had and cut down on syns in the next few days to compensate?

The only person who can control your weight loss for October is you. We're all human and we all find it hard to resist things but that's the beauty of sw you can have your treats - within reason.

Chin up hun and look forward to next week x

Come on you can do this. whats done is done, so put it where it belongs in the past and from this second onwards continue on plan. Keep each blip as a blip and not a total failure. We all have them, best thing to do is draw a line under it and move on. We are all here to support you, I fell off the wagon tonight, so we can clamber back on again tomorrow together x

It is NOT a disaster, you stop now and you get back on plan. The disaster would be for you to feel 'I've messed it all up, what's the point?' Even if you sts or even gain again this week if you stop now and take control it will still be a million times better than if you get demotivated and stop. Believe me, I am this size now because I give up at times like this and simply stop bothering at all.

Try and work out your syns and have a really healthy week from now without depriving yourself or feeling hungry, load up on fruit, veg, water and fibre. I bet it won't be as bad as you think and in a couple of weeks this will just be a blip. It sounds like you have a lovely couple of days with your loved ones and that is the important part, don't let a few extra syns take away from that, just be in control of how you go forward from here xxx

The failure is not in the falling, but in the staying down. Do as others have said, count syns weekly or just simply count it as a one off. Get back on the wagon. You can kick those pesky lbs in the goolies. ;)

i found this on the web and it may help you, this is what you need to say to yourself when you go off plan.....

'Of course, this diet is easier if you don’t blip, but if you have, it doesn’t mean you’ve blown it, you’re a failure or you can’t do it, you’ve just had a blip.

Leaving it until tomorrow could be dodgy. A bit like accidentally driving into a lamppost and making a very tiny dent, then thinking “Hey, messed up now, might as well slam the car backwards into the nearest shop over and over again.”

Thinking that you've blown it really messes the head. You've paused for a moment, that's all. Just say "interesting...wonder why I did that". Take a moment to see if you can find out why it happened and what you can do if you are tempted again. Then move on.

Diets don't go in days...they are moment by moment. If you can just put it aside and remember what you are trying to achieve now, you'll be fine. Don't aim for a 100% day.....aim for a 100% 'now.'
