Advice on Chicken

I really want some chicken but don't want to bother cooking it....if I go to sainsburys and get a plain cooked chicken and take the skin off and have some of that would that be ok?

I am going to the gym tonight at some point too.

I am not going to eat any veg with it as can't be bothered.

x

I don't mean to sound mean but would it not be more effort to drive to the supermarket than just cook a bit of chicken? I always find food tastes better if you can cook it yourself :)

I have to go anyway lol - I have nothing in the house and I was going to have boiled eggs (still might) but I need other stuff too.

I will just be tired when I get home...!

No worries - I might not bother.....

I've always had sliced chicken from a packet - proper roast chicken slices (not that horrible chicken roll stuff). They do it in most supermarkets, I'd say. Always best to have a quick look at the carb count on the packet to make sure it's got minimal carbs - but I've never taken the view that I had to cook the chicken myself. :) Remember though that the amounts of chicken on the SS+ list are uncooked weights - so you might have to have a bit less of the cooked stuff, that's all.

Like Lily, I too buy those packs of chicken - in tesco it's the 2 for £5 ones I get but in the past I have bought a cooked one and taken all the meat off and put in a tupperware box - works out a lot cheaper than those packs. x

I started off on the ready cooked stuff, it's fine. Tastes awful to me though compared to the fresh stuff ;)

I buy the tesco 2 for £5 ready cooked plain chicken breast. Good thing about them are they are 240g each pack so there is 4 days worth in them. I know uncooked is cheaper but I pay for the convenience.
