Weight loss??

Can you please tell me, does anyone have consistently good weight losses by just doing green days? I much prefer green days as I hardly eat meat but the thought of all those carbs scares me some what!!

I lost lots of weight once doing Atkins and it was pretty fast so am worried that eating lots of carbs will give me slow losses. I hope someone tells me it won't give me slow losses as I love carbs and veggies :eek:
 
I don't JUST do green days but for every 1-2 red/EE days I do 5 green

My weight loss has been (when ive been good, when ive been naughty it doesnt count) around 3lb a week!

its all about not mixing protiens and carbs i think

I really want to do mostly green maybe with the odd EE day thrown in sometimes and seeing that you lose well by doing this has made my day lol.

I've only been doing slimming world a couple of weeks so all advice is much appreciated.

Thats pretty much what I do, just make sure on your odd EE day you have your 1/3 super free

I joined at the start of may and have lost 11 1/2 lb doing mainly green so it does work
My EE days tend to be used on sea food actually lol, today was EE because i had prawns in my risotto keeps a bit of varity

best advice ive been given is trust in the plan lol
 
Well done on your weight loss so far!! I hope I lose well like you do.

It's so hard to trust the plan when most of my life I have spent counting calories, carbs or points etc. I will however trust in it and see what happens, my 1st week I lost 5lb by doing a mix of all 3 plans so can already see that it does work. Thank you for replying Louisa (I too am trying to get rid of my baby tummy lol) xxx
 
I know SW is crazy, my first week i lost 4lb but i couldnt belive it because i didnt feel I had dieted lol

GL with shiftting the mummy tummy, I did mine a few years ago then had another baby so gotta start again lol madness
 
Yes you can lose just as well on green - I lost my weight, getting to target in 11 months doing pretty much all green days. There was no EE plan then and I hated doing red because I was always starving on it. Just make sure that you build your meals around fruit and veg rather than free foods, and remember there are hosts of free foods you can have, not just pasta and potatoes. Variety in all things is key!
