Re-Joining SW & Going away.

Hi everyone. I hope this is in the right place.. wasn't sure whether to post in eating out? So if I need to move this, just say :)

I'm rejoining slimming world tomororw, and I honestly can't wait! After three weeks on SF, I am happy to be rejoining the food optimising gang :D

The only problem (well, query :p) I have, is that I'm going to London tomorrow, until Friday, and then on Friday I'm at a wedding.

If I plan to stick to Red/EE days.. what are the best options for hotel breakfasts and lunch out?
In the evenings I plan to stick to lean meats/fish with either salad & veg. Fortunately for me one of the ladies coming along is on celebrity slim (and sticking to it riggidly as she's checking in on the radio once a week!) so she'll be eating the same food as me in the evenings.. it's just the hotel breakfasts and lunches out that worry me.

Thanks in advance for all your help. I'm excited to be back to the SW thread :D x

I'll try to give a bit of advice! Most hotels tend to offer weetabix, so you could use that as your B choice and again, they should offer skimmed milk. Maybe just drop them an email in advance to let them know that you will be wanting a healthy breakfast-and then maybe speak to the restaurant manager the night before to ask for plain scrambled egg, or grilled bacon r whatever you chose. Ive worked for several years in the hotel industry and most places will bend over backwards to help as long as they know! :)
Again, with the wedding-can you request plain food-ie with sauce on the side
Hope that helps a bit

Thanks hun!

Ah that is such a good idea! I never thought about the weetabix! But did wonder about plain scrambled egg etc! Wedding should be easy as it's a cold buffet (yuck!) and I don't really like buffet food so will stick to meats and salad!

Thanks, again. I will give the hotel a ring :) x

Give them a ring-and then just to back it up, send an email confirming what you discuss on the phone :)
