what to eat if you go out so you dont come out of ketosis?

Hi Guys,
I've been on this diet for 4 weeks this coming tuesday and have lost 23lbs so far, (just weighed this morning) My OH and kids want to go out tonight and I don't think its fair to spoil it for them as they have been really supportive of me all the way through this diet. I have decided to have a meal but don't want to come out of ketosis as I guess it must be hard to get back into it.
What could I have to eat, i was thinking Steak with mushrooms and green salad would this be ok?Or do any of you do this and what would you have? Would it be hard to get back if I did come out of ketosis and would I gain weight just because of one night?
 
That sounds like a good meal to have, to stay in ketosis.
Remember to check salad dressings though, if you can, or avoid if not :)

Well done - the key is to avoid carbohydrates at all costs. The obvious ones and the ones hidden in sauces, dressings etc. It's carbs that bring you out of ketosis. How difficult it would be to get back in depends on how much carb!, so even if it's a minimum amount you will get back into ketosis very quickly. It should not be as hard as the first time around. Enjoy yourself, drink water and carry on tomorrow. GSQ
