BUTLINS SKEGNESS! advice needed!

We are off on holiday here on Saturday and we are located in Sandhills caravan park which I've just found out is opposite butlins. My concern is that apparently there is a main road that separates butlins from the sandhills caravan park, but there is a subway that you can go under rather than cross the road. My worry is we have two babies, so won't be getting out much in the evenings, but we also have 3 teenagers (11, 14 and 15), has anyone else stayed at one of the caravan parks, do you feel it is safe for my teenagers to use the subway to come back at 10pm at night? is the road a busy road? If anyone has been to Butlins Skegness and can advise, I'd be most grateful as I'm a little worried now :-(

I went there for a long weekend a couple of years ago.

The road is busy on changeovers as loads of people at the Butlins but apart from that quiet.

The whole site is very well "policed" by security and I never felt unsafe in anyway when we were there.
