I'm a newbie this time around but I lost 2 stone with SW the first time around, when I actually attended classes. For me, the biggest thing is to keep an accurate food diary, noting down everything that you eat. If you're only online like me, then this is as good support as going to a class, because there's a chance that someone will look at your diary. I also find that planning a full day in advance helps me keep on track. I follow the green plan, sometimes using my HEBs for meat or fish. I eat A LOT of brown rice, fruit and vegetables, which keeps me stuffed and less likely to pick at 'bad stuff'! I'm also finding the forums and reading other people's posts incredibly motivating, there are so many of us trying so hard. Having said that, I'm only in my first week this time around, and definitely agree with you about needing extra support and motivation, which is why I joined this site

Incidentally if you like rice, but find it a pain to cook in a saucepan, then I really recommend getting a rice cooker!
