I did it!!

I went to the gym for the first time in 7 months...I feel GREAT.

I didn't do any weights - told not to by CDC but I did 20 mins on the bike and 12 mins on cross trainer (walking) and I did a 45 minute swim.

My body aches and I slept in this morning but I DID IT!

And I am doing it again tonight... WHOOP!
 
Remeber to drink extra water with all the exercise your doing! Even without CD I have been told to drink an extra litre per hour of exercise.

You sound so positive, your earlier post even inspired me to get myself off to the gym today- first time in two weeks eeekk!!

ahh I really need to join a gym - you may have just inspired me to do so!

Have been doing the 30 day shred for 6 days now - I feel great with that - I'd like to start swimming too!

Anyone know how much exercise affects weight loss? I seem to remember someone saying it didn't make a difference, only to inches
 
In the short term I think hard exercise may slow you down a little- on the plus side your right, the toning up looses you inches and it's better for your long term maintenance and well being to be more active.

Whooop! That's incredible, well done you! It's only when we stop going to the gym that we forget how great it is, there's nothing like a fresh start.
