Hi all, this is a nice change from the doner kebab. Oil optional & sugar substituted for sweetener, serves 1-2 depending on size of chicken breast.

2 tbsp veg oil (optional or reduce qty)
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp Ginger powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cumin powder
1/4 tsp Garam masala
1/4 tsp sweetener (increase if needed)
Small handful fresh coriander, finely chopped
Generous Pinch salt & black pepper
1- 2 large skinless chicken breasts
1 onion, 1 pepper chopped into large pieces
Pitta (either syn or HEB depending where bought)

Cut chicken into small thin strips.
Mix all ingredients together well in a bowl.
Marinade chicken for 4 hrs, preferably overnight.
Preheat oven to 200C/ 400F/gas mark 6
Arrange chicken on wire rack over baking tray & bake for 8 mins, turn & bake for another 8 mins. Turn once more and bake for 2-3 mins or until just beginning to char.
Dry fry onions & peppers, stir fry 5-6 mins.
Serve chicken, onion & peppers in a pitta salad.

Enjoy!
