that time of the month for us women

Will be a skinny mini!
hi every body, im on the start of my 4th day on attack and woke up to that time of the month:mad: im reallly worried about going off the rails cos all i want to do is eat all the wrong things around this time ARRRRGGGGHHH HELP LOL

My first week involved this too, but thankfully I think because I was so determined to see the scales move I got through it, I made some sugar free jelly, and jus made sure I had chicken cooked and ready to pick at :)

Keep focused and this will help you beat it, although I did not suffer from the cravings as much as I normally would, last week seen my next one and I only lost 1lb but this week I lost 3lb which I think is great considering I am so near target :)

yeah u have done well, im just gonna make sure if im craving i will just eat protien im gonna do it ! i really want a good loss this week x

Hello everyone. Help! Newbie here. Day 4 and I just started with a very heavy period after 2 yrs of none with the Mirena Coil. Anybody else experienced doolally periods on this way of eating?

I have had mirena for nearly 5 years and my last one was much heavier than usual, never really linked it but maybe it is the diet!!

Ditto on Mirena but 2nd time around... last month was BAD. This is a bit better so not sure if its diet-related at all.

I can sympathise Mrs Joyce - I had a rough PMS week last week and it hasn't improved hugely this week except that the cravings have dissipated for the most part. Its that plus the STS or gains that kills (and discourage!) me.

I have had a quick look on internet and there is a theory that it seems that the fat cells do not just store fat, fat-soluble hormones like oestrogen lurk in there too. So when they deflate the body is flooded with a higher level of oestrogen than it's used to. Hence the erratic periods etc.
