Will fromaige frais work in pasta bake?

I've made a bolognese type sauce with quorn mince & I want to mix it with pasta & fromaige frais to make a pasta bake.

Will mixing fromaige frais work? I'll top it with cheese from my allowance.
 
Personally I think fromage frais ruins anything savoury but quark is ok in a pasta bake provided you have extra cheese with it.

Friend on SW uses low fat creme freche in her quiche recipe - this might work.

I have a similar query - would cottage cheese work? It does in quiche :eek:

Fromage frais will work just fine

Creme fraiche isn't free and needs to be synned - 1.5 syns per level tablespoon (0.5 if it is the WW stuff)

Cottage cheese would probably work but I think you would need to blend it first to get rid of the lumps.
