Soy bean paste free???

I have a weakness for outlandish food :)
Unfortunately they are not really compatible with SW's database!

My most recent fav food is a Korean soup made with soy bean paste - basically the same stuff that goes into home made Miso soup. It just contains stock, veg and the paste. I am on green days at the moment.

I know that there is a miso soup syn value in the book (1 Syn per sachet) but I don't know that brand and whether it is a paste or powder (http://www.minimins.com/syn-values/139708-yutaka-japanese-miso-soup.html)

I've used the stuff that I have (can't read the ingredients etc as all in Chinese) quite generously
..thinking that it might be almost free :) Granted, I didn't eat the whole pot of soup but I am unsure how much I should count.

Miso Paste is nothing else but fermented Soya beans (which are free on green :) ) and they mix also a fermented type of grain into it (eg fermented barley or rice depending on the brand)..so I guess it will have some syns since it contains some form of starch (not the whole grain)...

Sorry to waste your time with that but maybe someone can help me with this or give me advice? I don't go to the groups..so I can't ask a consultant..:(

this is the only one that i could find on the s/w site.

hope it may help you
