eating more calories than before. Does it matter

Am a bit worried,
before Atkins my total calorie intake was around 300 cals per day less.
but my carb intake was around 90.
Does this matter, or should I cut back on cals.
I have only been doing this a few days and not due to weigh until Monday.
Thanks

The calories aren't your focus on Atkins - put calories out of your mind! The only thing you really need to keep in mind is the carbs. It really does take a while to let go of the usual way of dieting but when you start to feel the energy rising and the clothes getting looser, you'll know it's working. Be sure to drink enough water too, and come Monday you'll be in for a pleasant surprise on the scales.

GOOD LUCK!

Well done on your weight loss.

If you're doing Atkins properly u have to forget about calories. If at some point in the future you stall you can look at them again but for now it's 2 fingers at the kcal!

Did you really mean 300 cals?

I was doing under 1000 at first, then switched properly to Atkins style low carb, and the weight is coming off nicely :)

Just re read it and got it this time! lol....300 cals less than now. I am a dumb ass at times lol

You don't need to worry about Cals Sue, it's hard to change your thinking patterns, I know
