A bit of a blip!!!

Here I am in week 6 of WW PP and it was great for the first 3 weeks with a total of 10lb lost.
Then the sugar cravings set in badly and socialising meant alcohol so in week 4 it was a 1lb gain.
Week 5 I tired harder however was scuppered by my youngest's 7th birthday.
The rule in our house is if its your birthday you choose the diner. She chose Chinese!!! we also had family over so more wine!
The following Day we at her request went to Cadburys world, yes that meant free chocolate and cheep chocolate and picnic lunch. I was good and brought as much of mine home as I could but the liquid chocolate you have to eat on site ( and yes you do HAVE to eat it, it smells and looks so good it would be really rude not to!)
This was then followed by another family day and a BBQ with wine. I did feel guilty so squeezed in a 4.5 mile bike ride that evening!
However again come Monday morning I had another 1lb gain:cry:
I am not surprised also my exercise levels were right down due to working a lot of extra shifts those two weeks!
So here I am week 6 and determined not to do that again, and strangely my sugar cravings are subsiding, which is good! (maybe a visit to the chocolate factory cues them!;))
I am going for a good loss this week, but my eldest is 17 this weekend and having a party here, so am saving all my weeklies for the weekend lol.

Anyway just thought I would share my ramblings for a few minutes, thanks x

ahh you went to the birmingham factory??? My mum is from Birmingham and we're going over there in september... She raves about the melted chocolate... and the staff shop...

I'm so gonna have weight on that week, chocolate overload :3

The line has been crossed and you'll find if you are good now you should lose a good amount! (i put on 14lb over christmas once and lost 11lbs it on the first week back to proper eating - apparently short term gain is easier lost than long term!)

LOL save your weeklies for that visit then, its a really nice place to visit I can't wait to go back.

Word of advice book your time slot on-line before you go so you will get in the time you want and if you are paying on-line and printing the tickets, (even quicker entry!) then use discount code smartsave20 and you will get 20% off each ticket!:):):)

Life happens :) its simple. If you had a good time and tried your best its fine! 1lb is nothing!! Im known to gain 6.5lb after a busy week of socialising!! Being back on track is what counts now :)

Great words. I've not lost much over the last couple of months actually and that's because i've had so much on with weddings, parties etc. I've put on the odd couple of pounds but i've lost it straight away again. And I've gone down a couple of pounds too.

This is a life plan and not a diet as such, so to be able to tackle life situations is key I think. I'm not worried about the lack of losses too much, as I know after this weekend, that's pretty much it in my social calendar for the next few months. I can then really focus.

One thing I now know is that I'm able to maintain! lol :)

Thanks guys I think with this diet I am going to have to learn not to beat myself up over a slight gain and just keep putting myself back on track.

its a lifestyle not a quick fix, must remember that too lol :)
