Hello could someone please look at my Food Diary to see what i am doing wrong i am not losing any weight i am gaining

There's only 7 days here.

Your body may not have adjusted to weight loss yet - especially as you're already in a healthy BMI range.

Are you drinking enough and are you doing any excercise?
 
I don't think you're eating enough free food, mini cheddars for dinner? If that's all you had it's not ideal. Also you are over your syns some days so try and stick to 15 per day or if you have more one day use less the next etc x
 
as selwonk asked are you drinking enough and exercise may help. Also you could try adding some more veggies into you meals, you diary has alot of fruit and meat/fish but not as much vegetables. As you dont have much to loose give your body time and dont give up :)
 
You've gone way over you daily syns at least 3 times without compensating the other days. If it helps to think of syns weekly then do that - Stick to 105 a week as a maximum. That way you can take off the syns for wine from the total amount for the week. So one day you could have 30 syns of wine, but maybe the next day you stick to 5 syns.

You also need to eat more free & superfree foods - they will fill you up and get your metabolism going - it will stop you eating more syns as well and regulate blood sugar so you don't crave sweet stuff all the time.

Also, try to mix up your hebs - so don't have bread for both one day, or alprn lights for both another day.

Try & keep your syns for the evening as well. If you are eating enough frer & superfree you should find this fairly easy.
 
I don't really do any exercise as I am at work all day and then i pick the children up from school and do dinner homework etc...

i like a glass of dry white wine at night with my dinner as it helps me relax i am finding it really hard to stay on track not sure which one to do red or extra easy bit confused slimming world online doesn't really help:(

I love fruit but am not keen on veg

Do you like stirfrys, salads ?? or try having more meals where you can add veg into it, casserol, spag bol etc where you can sneak in extra super free??

I can see you dont have much weight to get to target so it might be a good idea to look at having between 8-12 syns rather than 15 syns.

Have you been on another diet before joining SW? sometimes if you have been on a VLCD (Very low cal diet) beforehand your metabolism may take a while to catch up.

Drink lots of water. Esp if you have quite a bit of wine, you will be dehydrating your body. Fresh and pure is best, but if you have with Low cal squash then thats fine too. Oh and are you measuring or guessing the wine?? Make sure you measure it!!! :) x

Ensure you eat lots of speed foods, free foods - i know you are not keen on veg so increase fruit intake instead - or have a batch of speed soup (where veg is all blended so you dont know its veg!!!) this will definatley help your losses.

Keep on plan - try to fit some exercise in - even if its in the morning before the kids get up (although that might be 4am! so ignore that if this is the case!) Exercise with the kids on an evening maybe/weekend? Walking and playing in the park - i dont know your childrens ages - but i am sure swimming/park etc are all fun whatever the ages.

Thankyou i have just changed today to red day instead of EE as i was only going to have potatoes with my dinner tonight, but i would rather have an alpine light bar as and healthy extra b instead i love the chocolate and fudge it stops me eating chocolate that i crave i am a bit of a chocolate monster:sigh:

I Do measure my wine and i also put ice into it to make it last longer and also so that my OH doesn't top me up i like to have 1 glass a nights this is the only bit of pleasure i have i don't take drugs or smoke or go out partying i just enjoy a glass of wine and i don't want to give that up.

If i can stick to the plan don't lose next week i will try a week off the wine completely and see how i go;)
 
You can have potatoes on a red day as one of your 2 HEB'a, you just need to weigh & keep the skin on. Theres no need to give up wine, or anything else for that matter. Its just a question of moderation. Maybe have a 175 ml glass of wine and add soda water so it lasts longer - this is what i do. Then i still have syns leftover for chocolate - Mikado sticks are only 1/ 2 a syn each, or a curly wurly is 6 syns - put them in the freezer for a bit so they take longer to eat!
 
I agree dont give up the wine - if you enjoy it and its within syns it is all good - but as i mentioned try to keep it to one large one so your syns dont go over too much.

SW works as we are allowed things in moderation - and some things moreso than others.

Stick to it for another week - and i would in fact say give SW a month overall, if you average your losses over a month is much more likely to be impressive. I think sometimes i have had months that go like this: Lose 1lb, maintain, lose 3lbs, lose 2lbs. Total lost = 6lbs which is 1.5 per week, but the maintain week i would be like....'argh' i have been good, and not lost.....but overall it works out a nice steady loss.
