mccain rustic oven chips

okay so i will probably be told off for asking this seen as similiar ones have already been asked but couldn't see anything in the search bit..

so i know you get 100g of chips for 1.5 syns (i think - please correct me if i'm wrong) but how many chips do you get for this? is it a decent enough portion? am trying to decide whether to buy some of these or just continue making my own free ones

I'm not sure but I make a massive batch of syn free chips on a Sunday and freeze them in portions in those little freezer bags. So yummy!

ooooh not a bad plan! what do you do? cook them completely as you would normally then just freeze them? have seen some people say they just par boil them then freeze them...

and how long do you cook them for from frozen? :]

Yes! I just par boil them spray a bit of frylight on them an pop them in a bag shake them up a bit before you freeze them x

The rustic chips are enormous so 100g works out at about 3 or 4

They are 1 syn per 100g so you get a good serving for 2 or 3 syns

ah lovely, thank you very much.. think i will stick with syn free ones in the meantime, as i usually like to save up my syns for sweet treats in the evening :]
