Anyone use Ketostix to check for Ketosis

Hey guys
On day two... easy so far (ish)... althought I know weekend is going to be hard, Ive done CD before but failed on day 6... did loose a stone though and kept it off without trying, so wanna loose 2.5 more and I'll be happy.
Only thing is.... I'm dying to know when my body is in Ketosis, I wanna buy Ketostix but wanna know if anyone else uses them and if they are anmy good. I was gonna buy um off ebay but I want them NOW! lol (Patience was never something I could master... hence why all these trend diets failed)
I tried a few chemist and none of them seemed to stock them.
If anyone in the Newcastle area did use them, can you let me know where you got them from if poss... thanks guys! :wave_cry:

Boots have them too.

You will know when you are in ketosis, will feel a little better and the hunger will be easier.

my friend tried to buy her ketostix from boots and was interrogated by the staff as to why she needed them, wanted to know was she on one of those faddy diets lol
 
Hi Ninababes ... I heard the same thing about Boots. That;s why I opted to go out of my way to get them at lloyds ;)

i dont think i'l ever be in ketosis on the 1200 plan so i'm no gonna try lol as long as the weight peels off i dont mind atall
 
I tried to buy some from Boots and they wouldn't sell them to me, said I had to be diabetic to use them :eek::eek::eek:
He wanted to know if I was on the Atkins diet - what infuriated me was that an overweight woman comes up to the counter asking for them and he assumes I'm on a diet :mad::mad::mad:
The way he carried on was as if I'd asked for heroin :rolleyes:
 
I might go and ask for some and then say to them and what business is it of yours why i want them maybe i just like peeing on sticks
 
Ha ha you should do! It made me laugh cos Boots sell low carb stuff on their shelves don't they.
I'm never going into that Boots store again. he was a right bloody jobsworth. They aren't even medicine or a controlled substance or anything.
 
if they werent £5 i might have done but i can get them free from work neway lol

Well... ive been out in the car to every chemist in the 5 mile area... asked at every counter for ketostix... they all looked at me like i stepped over the mother ship..
Boots... what a load of snotty bitches, i did just say what someone else said in this topic, i asked for the sticks, and she asked if i was on some kinda of low cal diet, so i looked at myself (yes i was breathing in) and said "why?, do u look as if i need one?" she was a little embarrased, and after all that... they didnt sell them anyway!!!
So, looks like ill ave to buy them off ebay and wait another week for them to b delivered, by then i wud have been in ketosis and given up by day 5 anyway lol
 
i can't believe some people where do they get off on telling peope what you can or can't buy i'd understand if it was drugs or alcohol or cigarettes for for ketosis sticks deary me some people
 
I got mine from ebay, they only took a few days to come. :)
