Been on llt now for 18 weeks just had my first wobble nearly fainted n collapsed I'm scared shitless(sorry for language but only way I can describe it) got my sister to do my blood sugars and she says they were low 4.1 does any one know wat I could do to bring them up a bit
 
How weird Andy, I'm also on 18 weeks and I got really mega dizzy yesterday too.....perhaps it's an 18 week thing :confused:
 
Wow!!! That's an amazing achievement Andy!!!! 9 stone in 18 weeks? Unbelievable! I've just hit the 3 stone mark :D

Don't worry about the dizziness, mine passed really quickly after I drank a glass of water and I feel fine today :cool:
 
I don't know how you can get your sugars up without eating or drinking something that is not allowed. But when felt like this I started drinking bouillion stock (like the ll savoury drink but much cheaper) and this helped me out a lot - I think maybe the extra salt in it helped. Alternatively maybe your llc would let you do an additional milk week which might boost you slightly? If it continues though you should get checked out by a doctor just in case.
 
I never done the milk week as I'm not good with milk I like it too much maybe that's y I'm not good at the min
 
Hi Andy, I had something similar a few weeks ago and my dr said my BP was really low and should up my fluid intake to boost it, said lower than average sugars were normal on LL
 
I had my bp checked last Monday and doctor said it was fine plus I always drink the 4litres of water a day I took alot of extra bars this week as I had a wedding and was away with work so I had 4 extra bars so maybe this was to blame
 
Andy!!!!! congrats on the 9 stoen loss!!! i am in week 18... and i had my FIRST ever lapse a few days ago.... i totally understand what u mean when u say ur head isnt in the right place at the mo and u feel like quitting.... its very draining sticking to something so rigidly for such a long time.
I feel terrible after my lapse and am still trying to get back into ketosis.
For what its worth i reallly DONT recommend lapsing... it really messed with my head and i feel like a failure even tho i have lost 5 stone in 17 weeks.
I really hope u feel better soon and i cant put my finger on why u felt so faint.
I also skipped milk week.... but the only side effect from not doing that i suppose was the lapse this week.
I think maybe ur body may need to do milk week just to strengthen u up a bit and add some calcium to your diet.
