Asda shake to bake tomato, sweet paprika & garlic mix

Has anyone got any ideas on how best to syn this.

I've just bought this shake to bake mix from Asda, its very similar to some other brands where you put meat or veg in the bag and bake it.

There is nothing on the SW website about it and there is no nutritional info on the pack :cry:so I'm struggling to syn it. I wouldn't have thought it was too high in syns (famous last words) as it contains mostly herbs & spices.

The only info on the pack is the ingredients which are:

Wheat flour, dried fried onion, paprika, dried garlic, dried tomato, salt, mustard seeds, sugar, dried onion, rosemary, sage, thyme, black pepper, celery seeds & turmeric.

Any ideas or suggestions? thanks in advance :)

Hi

I would love to know too as these sound lovely.

many thanks

Anyone!!

Sorry but without the nutritional info it's difficult to say. I would probably use one of the similar products as a guide for the time being. Or make your own syn free version of course.

I've been trying to figure the syn value of these out too...based on the Spanish style smokey paprika one i think it's at the most 0.5 -1 syn for the whole thing if baked with fry light instead of oil. The only syn values to count in the ingredients are sugar and rapeseed oil which are at the most 2% of the whole thing, making it low in syns. This is just my guess as a guide, hope it helps!
