clothes sizes???

Ok so now I cam get into my size 16 jeans I have found a huge difference in sizes from shop to shop!! My next jeans getting very loose need to wear a belt but my debenhams ones still tight with slight muffin top lol not a good look!! Falmer ones just right lmao sound like I am goldilocks !!!!!!!
Going shopping for a DRESS ! Tomorrow for a posh dinner dance on Friday night I don't fo dresses but would love to try and look like a laydeee for my do on Friday!!

I only have one pair of jeans at the moment, I love dresses. My jeans are size 18 from Peacocks. I`ve been told to try size 16 jeans from Next and Dorothy Perkins. Dress sizes vary am 14/16 at Asos, 12/14 Matalan, Primarni, Boohoo and others. Tops I am 12/14 as well. My top is very small think I need a 36C bra:cry: am 38C at the moment. I want big boobs not tummy . But I find if I wear my control pants am good. Have two skirts, size 16 Warehouse and a very loose size 18 denim mini from Primarni.

When I was a size 22/24 I thought size 22 Matalan was a small cut, lol, now I know it was me.

I vary too much shop to shop why can't they just stick to one measurement!

I love Julien Macdonald dresses as they accommodate my GGs nicely - plus they have a really nice cut to them

I don't understand clothes sizes at all any more! I'm a 12, even at my heaviest I was a 12, and after losing weight I'm still a 12 but then I saw Vanessa Feltz saying she was a 12 and I'm miles smaller than her...Once upon a time I was an 8, then a 10... I'd like to be a 10 again, fingers crossed it's soon x Now, I'm just going by the clothes in my wardrobe and the numbers on the scales!

Yep sizes are wild -I often shop in the marks and sparks reject shop and always look at the 8's and 10's as often they are left over cos they are too big for normal 8's and 10's -I've picked up jeans for a £1 and tops for a £1.

Where's the M&S reject shop cannyscot? Are they the outlet ones? I love a good bargain ? x

Yes -outlet shop but there is a reject section in the outlet shop usually in a corner where you get leftovers ie 1/2 items for £1 or £2 -sometimes weird sizes ie ladies shoes size 4 or 8-The problem is they sell cut price cupcakes as well -you often get the 3.99 cakes for 99p etc-so it isn't a good place on a wobbly day (like I'm having today!)
