Hi, this is the first menu I've posted on here. I'm an experimental cook so I don't really measure things anyways this is my recipe....
175g turkey mince (you can use more but I use that for one portion)
Half an egg (don't need a full one unless you are using more mince)
Tbsp oat bran
1 red onion
Passata or tinned tomatoes
Half a pepper
Salt and pepper
Garlic
Chilli
Spring onions
Mix the mince, chilli, garlic and spring onions (if u want) and bind with egg and oatbran.
Roll the mixture into balls the size of cherry tomatoes
Heat the balls in frying pan and sear all the edges
Add onion, peppers, garlic and chilli and cook with balls. As they soften add the passata or tinned tomatos and heat through until cooked. Add salt, pepper and more chilli to taste.
You made need to add some splenda to take the acidity out of the sauce.
Hope that all makes sense.
