finding ss really hard at the mo, cant even manage a full day :( on ss+ are you allowed milk as i feel that if i had some in my tea i could manage to complete a full day. i never use to drink tea but since i started cd i had to give up my diet pepsi addiction ive really started to enjoy it. ive not been on cd for awhile and have continued to not drink pepsi but im drinking 3/4 cups of tea aday.
but if i did have some milk do i also have to have another shake a day too?

dont no if that makes sence but any advice would be brill

thanks jenny xx

I've had a tiny splash of milk in my tea(4+ cups per day) from the very beginning and it hasn't affected me much. My CDC says if that's what helps me stick to the plan then fine as it is much better than all the high cal drinks I used to have! Just make sure it's skimmed :)

I am doing SS+ partly because I can't manage without tea (with skimmed milk) and have as much tea as I want and a small meal with 3 CD packs a day. I don't think I lose much less than I would on SS and it makes the difference between me sticking to the plan or not! Give it a go, sure it can't be worse than coming off plan,

You're allowed 200mls skimmed milk with one of the SS+ options (4 CD daily) I agree that it's much easier when u can have a lovely cuppa tea ;-)

I am doing SS+ and have 3 shakes, a meal and dashes of milk in my tea. It's how I have always done it and I've always had good losses in the past.

I just couldn't stick to it otherwise and find it easier to make very small changes to CD where I can. (so long as I don't get knocked out of ketosis) It's not ideal, but it's ideal for me if you know what I mean.

We do what we can in order to stick to it and it has to be better than eating the crap we were eating before CD! lol
