Extra Easy To syn or not to syn?

Hi everybody. I am brand new to slimming world and I have one little question about syns. My group leader said to have between five and fifteen. I just wanted you opinions on which is the best route to take? Ie is it better start off at the max level and gradually take it down in order to avoid plateaus or to stay mid to low level of sins every day?

I normally stick to 7 each day then i got a few to play with if i guessed sin value or forget something ive had xx
 
Yep start off with 10-15 a day and see how it goes. There is no reason to limit your syns as even 15 syns a day is only 300 calories a day or 2100 a week - so not enough to add even one pound in weight loss.
 
I have problems with syns I force myself to have 5 syns each day (made up of hot chocolates ect) I recently decided i wanted to have more syns because it gives me more room to tweak them should my weight loss slow down, the last two days i have made myself have 11 syns
 
My consultant said to aim for 10 syns a day, so that's what I aim for. some days Im 7, some days Im 12.... today I was 6 hehehe But I might see if there's some mini jaffa cakes in the cupboard soon lol!!
 
Is that the pots of mini jaffa cakes? Have some in my cupboard, do you know how many sins they are?
 
They are 1 syn per jaffa cake and you get 6 in a pot. So they should be 6 syns (unless you get a pot wth 7 in lol!)

I've decided to have sugar in my tea instead of Jaffa cakes!! hhehehehe
 
Divide the calories by 20 for the syn value.
 
I havnt had any the past 2 days but really havnt felt like it been too full from my fruit. Is it possible that this will have a negative effect on my loss this week?
