Partially Off Topic - Having a Great Day!

For no particular reason other than I'm in a super-good mood, I thought I'd share what a great day I'm having today! Here's why:

1. I feel great - loads of energy today and for the 1st time since I've started dieting, I FEEL slimmer and healthier (I can't wait until my Zumba class in a bit... will probably bop all over the place!) Did well at Yoga this a.m. too (super bendy! )
2. The scales moved this morning -woohoo! I am officially now just "overweight" and I mean just...
3. I got 3rd row tickets to one of my very, very favourite music artists ever (won't say who as he's Country & Western and I'm sure not very known in UK). I cannot wait until this concert and will probably scream my head off like a prepubescent teen!!!
4. I got into my Zumba class (was wait-listed and no one ever seems to cancel so thought I would have to run tonight but no... I get to Zumba baby!)
5. Had a fabby chat with one of my best girlfriends in the world in Singapore (of course had to ring her to tell her about the concert tickets!)
6. I'm having a great food day as I'm not really thinking about it as I did yesterday when it was a total challenge (the minute I feel deprived, I rebel and want what I can't have)
7. I resolved a couple of other issues - personal and work.

Just thought I'd put some positive energy out there as I'm having a superb day. I wish the same for all of you as well!!

P.S. also realised today that I'm already half-way to my goal!

Hee, hee Karen... you'll appreciate this - its Toby Keith!!! I'm so excited I can barely contain myself. I'm a New Yorker who loves Country music ! Now I just have to sit tight for 5 and 1/2 months until he makes it over here. Yee-haw!!

If memory serve me?? He was on The Craig Ferguson Show a while back and they were talking about him going to Scotland. WOW you are in for a concert...can't get any more county than Toby Keith. I bet by then even tho your goal is 170, bet you weigh something like 140. You are doing so so so well. Just think, going to a slinky western wear site and ordering something what we call in the Texas Western Chic. You will probably be one of the only Americans in the audience.
