The Final CountDOWN

Hi to anyone who reads or replies,

Day 6 on Exante today. Doing ok after a couple of days over the weekend not feeling too good.

Down 4kgs. This has to work as I have a big Oh birthday at the end of the year and I don't want to go into another year feeling bad and weighing so much more than I ever did before. This has to be the final countDOWN.

Luckily I find all the shakes yummy. Haven't tried any of the soups yet as I got the bumper pack of shakes because of the price. I love soup though, so will have to see.

I do have a problem seeing the bigger picture - or rather I see the bigger picture and get downhearted because I have such a long way to go. If anyone reading can offer any advice on how to overcome this, please feel free to comment. Maybe I need to focus on smaller goals? The next 5kgs, or lose 5kgs by a certain date? Does everyone have to do that because I am happy with the way things are going (down!), but then I look at how much I have to lose and feel down.

Thanks

Hi hun, I have alot more to lose than you the avergae loss after your big first weeks loss on exante should be around 1.5 - 2kg a week so i would say deffinatly break it down into like 5kg chunks then you know you will be able to easily achieve that in a month.

mind you everyones losses are different, I usually make goal that i know i can complete in roughly 2 weeks as it stop me getting bored to easily!

congrats on doing so well! keep it up!

p.s I'm the worst person you could meet for falling off the wagon from staring at the big picture!

I think focusing on smaller goals will help alot. I'm taking mine a lb at a time and that's it, otherwise looking at the huge amount I have to lose would scare the living daylights out of me and I'd just give up!

Hi folks

Thanks so much for the encouragement, it really helps to know that I can come on here and get a boost, and I hope I can do the same for others.

"looking at the huge amount I have to lose would scare the living daylights out of me and I'd just give up!" Blue Butterfly, you hit the nail on the head - that's me to a T.

Thanks you guys,
