considering Propoints

Sez

has started again!!
Hello all.

I am seriously considering Propoints, as yet another voucher dropped on my door mat today! (I feel sure they are watching me with that knowing grin....hehehe she failed again, lets get her back!!)

I tried WW about 2 years ago but didnt really give it a fair crack. This was after a huge weight loss and equally huge regain with Lighter Life. I know I need to eat sensibly and to learn to do so, and wondered if you think PP is the way to go.

Also I have a very expensive holiday coming up in August and would love to lose as much as possible by then, was hoping for 3 stone???? Is that possible? I would add, I have about 8 stone to lose so from experience I know it will drop off faster to start with.

How does it work? Details and advice would be received with great interest. (I know you cant specifics but hopefully enough to let me know an honest opinion.)

My local class is less than 5 minutes walk away and at a time I can do, so no excuse at all really !!

Look forward to hearing from you.

Sarah

Hi there. I did propoints for a while, lost loads and gradually it's come back on. Back on it now though in the hope to get into a bikini by July!! Would definitely recommend it ! Seems a healthy way to go and you dont feel too deprived. Good luck!!!

hi sez

propoints is the best plan ww have ever done (well in my opinion it is!)

depending on age, sex, height, weight etc you are allocated an amount of daily points which you should use

you are also given 49 points to last you all week which you are free to use if you wish. i always use my weekly points as i am on the basic 29 daily points.

weight losses obviously vary from person to person and i'm not going at it like a bull at a gate but i have managed to lose a stone and my incentive is my holiday in jamaica in september!

all the best whether you choose ww or not xx

Hia Sarah,

Best of luck for this latest venture. August is not so far away now...

I saw the youtube snippet on Facebook of Grand P. Got me all excited I have to admit. I really enjoyed my time on her a couple of years ago.

It's not the diet thats the problem, it's the head stuff:confused:. I am reading a book about self-hypnosis (for Dummies lol). Hope to be able to get to grips with stuff.

Isnt it just ?? Who knows where we end up, eh?

3 stone in 3 months... hmmm thats maybe a little steep... I'm at a similar stage as you (about 7 stone to go) and I definitely couldn't do it. You could very well get a good stone in 1 month, but it does tend to slow down.

I think 2 stone would be a great target to go for, then if you have a bad day you know that you can still keep to your target. And if you are feeling really good you will smash the target to bits! How great would that feel :p

I think ww is the #1 weightloss method for real life. The only restriction is your points budget... And fruit is freeee (it wasn't on the old systems)

Give it a crack and see how you go :) x

I've lost 34lbs in 4 months, but as I've got arthritis I don't get much exercise. Experts do say though it's better to lose just 1 or 2 lbs per week, less likely to put it back on! The thing I think with WW ProPoints is that you have to eat healthily which is a good thing, I've certainly felt so much better since I started do it. Last Friday I went to a party for the Royal Wedding (well actually just an excuse for a party!) I ate far too many sandwiches and felt terrible for 2 days, that has taught me that eating too much bread is bad, from now on I'll stick with 2 slices a day! I hope you give WW a try, its working for me!
