oo they look yummy :)

1 syn per double bun Inc filling

Buns
4 medium eggs
8 tbsp sweetner
2 level tbsp cocoa
2 satchet options choc drink ( it says orange flavour but I don't like that so I used belgium)
I added 1/2 tub quark to bulk out these buns but it's not in the original recipe

Filling

1/2 tub quark
1 level tbsp sweetner
1 satchet options ( again it says orange but I used White chocolate)
1 tsp vanilla essence

Preheat oven 180 c
Make cream by whisking together and put in fridge to chill ( I put it in piping bag first so it was firm and ready to fill the buns as soon as they was cold)

Whisk eggs, sweetner and quark
Sieve in options, cocoa and fold into mixture

Divide into 12 bun cases and bake on top shelf for 10 mins or until firm

Cool and fill

Enjoy :)

This was from the 100 delicious desserts book from my group

These look lovely!! Thanks for sharing. Will make them at the weekend if I can locate some quark.

Hmmm, looked great till I saw the quark. I must be the only person on here that hates the stuff!! :jelous:

Wow these sound and look fab thanks for posting x

Made some more today but used highlights in the quark filling because I had run out of White choc options
They where ok but a bit more tart so will have to take a trip to Asda to get some more options

I doubled the mixture cos I was making tasters for class n it's made 18! Didn't know how much mixture to put in cases but they have turned out ok!! ( well some of them are a bit thick!) they stuck to the bin cases too? X

Did you spray oil the bun cases? I find also if you leave them to cool in the tin they shrink back and come away from the sides allowing them to pop out really easy :)

Bun cases do u mean cupcake cases or muffin cases??

I was copying what it said in the book and to be honest I didn't know what it meant so I put it straight in the tin after spraying and I only used fairycake( as I used to call them before we all got americanised with cupcake) size I hope this helps x
