Hi this probably sounds like a daft question I know but..... When do people start noticing a slow down in weight loss? I've lost 2.5 stones and still have 2 to go but my weight loss is very slow then before. Is this normal? Xxx

Yes, I think it's quite normal. Mine has really slowed too, whereas the first stone fell off me. Even had a gain last week - bah!

I wouldn't worry about slow down, it's entirely normal and can be rectified quite easily if you change things a little.

For example:

When I did my first diet 2 years ago I lost the first 1.5 stones in about 7 weeks and then found the pounds took a lot longer to shift so I just changed my diet slightly.

I found that as I got used to getting more excersise my body was becomming far too used to the type of excerise I was doing so I added a little bit more variety to my plan (which stamped out the repetetiveness that had creeped in) and I soon saw an improvement.

Good luck with your weight loss!

It's normal naz, the less you have to lose the more time your body needs to release the weight.

xx

Change or start your exercise routine, for me it's the 3 stone mark and now my body forgets it's still too heavy. Also if you're eating too little your body panics and holds onto every scrap of food so make sure you're eating 1500 calories a day and getting a half hour walk each day baseline. Good luck!
