need help party planning pls

its my husbands birthday in july (awhile away I know but it keeps me busy) and i'm planning on throwing him a traditional childs birthday party with kids games like pass the party and kids food and everyone is getting dressed up as 80's kids tv charcters.
my problem is I was gonna hire a bouncy castle because its what kids often have but we have a trampoline so I can't see the point. I was wondering if anyone can come up with another idea instead that is suitable for adults and children.

What about garden games like boules, cricket or swing ball (proper 80's throwback) or badminton etc and have little competitions or pin the tail on the donkey hehe xxx
