Trying to 'fix' myself

Hello, I am a binge eater, I have been for many years. In this diary I am charting my self help 'fix me' programme.

I realise that I need to stop and have to reaquaint myself with eating for fuel and not to self medicate. I have seen some progress over the last few days, the realisation has finally sunk in and I need to sort this. I am 39 next and i dont want to continue like this. I am trying to tackle my sugar addiction and have decided to do this by stopping dead with the obvious sugar items. I just hope that I can do it..........to be continued

Hi Chala
Well, it's a lovely day to start your new way of looking at food. I wish you all the best - I'm trying to do the same thing and it's nice to know I'm not alone!

Hi Chala, How's things today? I see you are into exercise and wondered how you motivate yourself. I absolutely hate getting out of breath, sweaty etc and afterwards just feel wobbly! (Obviously unfit). I have low blood pressure which is good healthwise but means I don't have much get up and go.

What exercise do you do? I lack motivation too because I have lost weight before without exercise so it would be the incentive of warding off old age/improving health that would do it for me, I guess. I have done Pilates and have an exercise bike (currently drying towels on it) and that's that I'm afraid!
