May Challenge

I am challenging myself to lose between now (April 28th) and June 1st, 8lbs, taking me down to below 14 stone. I'm also challenging myself to only eat out 3 times maximum in those 5 weeks. Anyone want to join me in setting a goal, feel free :)

count me in... i did the april challenge, didnt loose the 8lbs i wanted to. so just going to say i want to loose 6lbs. i'd still be happy with 6lbs, and plus i'd feel like i've passed (if i loose the 6lbs. whereas the april one i felt like a big fail :-(!!

Good to have company :) I know what you mean about feeling a failure when you don't meet a challenge. It's good to set one that's challenging but that you believe is completely achievable :) Good luck!

Hi girls, count me in too please! I've just restarted ww, weighin was Thursday, would like to loose 10lbs by the 1st of June, have much more than that to lose, but it's good to have small challenges! :)

Hi, I'd love to jump in to (thanks again Dreamer for giving me the tip that these challenges are here) and like to lose 8lbs this month. Have installed an old x-trainer in my room so hoping this will help avoid 'no time to get to gym' excuse and increase exercise ;)

Welcome to the challenge! Cross trainers are brill, I lose around 250 calories in 20mins on them. If you're lucky enough to have one at home 10mins in the morning and evening would let you lose an extra half pound a week! I wanted a really high spec ex-gym one, but realised they cost a fortune. Am worried of getting a normal one and it ending up like a clothes horse (like my old exercise bike!)
 
I'd like to join too please, would like to lose 5lbs, however I'll have to wait until i've replaced the battery in my scales so I know exactly where I am! :eek:

Hi everyone, you'll not have seen me around much the last few months even though I was such a regular member at the end of last year as I have simply not been up to the whole diet thing like I was last year. But I am now sick of myself and am really going to kick my own butt to try and get some of this weight shifted, luckily I've not really put much back on from what I had lost last yr but I am determined to lose it again as I'm sick of feeling all bulky and heavy now.

So count me in this month please, I'm going to aim for a nice and easy (she says hopefully!) 6lbs please. Wish me luck, I'm going to need it! :p

well done! done for ya! :) -i've put on- again! bloody inplanon- making my weight fluctuate so much! hopefully weight would of calmed down for wed (weigh day)

I'm aiming to lose as much as I can to crack my mum off as she has been very nasty to me this week over my weight and said I looked like "Bloody gigantor" Charming coming from someone who should be supporting me :rolleyes:

And also a bit of a cheek seeing as my mum weighs 18stone and is a size 20. But I'd never insult her in that way. Oh well!
 
Count me in! I want to get down to 168lb by the end of May. I'll weigh myself tomorrow morning to get my start weight :)

I've only just joined this site and a challenge seems like the ideal way to get started, and have something to aim for.

I want to lose 6 pounds this month.
