Anyone tried the Beck diet solution?

Has anyone read this? I know some of the ladies on another forum swear by it. It's not a diet itself but is cognitive behavioural therapy to change the way you think about food. It's especially targeted at emotional eaters apparently and looks at changing the negative relationship we have with food. It recommends you start a well balanced diet (like SW or WW) and use the book in accordance with that. I've just ordered it from Amazon, but I'd be dead interested in anyone else's opinions of it.

I am just off to Google it. First time I have heard of it.

I really need to change my relationship with food.

When you consider that most of us are brought up with food as a reward, " be a good girl/boy and you can have an ice-cream/sweetie/cake/extra sausage" or as something to comfort us when we are ill, down or just plain fed up, we make a great social occasion of eating too.It is hardly surprising so many of us have a poor relationship with food.

Interesting stuff and worth researching.
