No appetite!!

Hey guys I need some help.. I had my baby girl just over 3 weeks ago and started SW 2 weeks ago as I'm feeling really good and wanted to crack on with losing some weight.
The problem I have is I'm just not hungry and I'm not really eating much. I find I'm really busy as I have a 3 year old as well so I go past the hunger stage and I know this isn't good for me.

So my question is, if I eat breakfast and tea do u think I can get away with just fruit and a mullerlight for lunch? This is when I find I have less time to eat due to nursery run, baby feeds etc and the fact I'm just not hungry..

In that case do whatever works for you hun. As long as you aren't hungry eat whatever you need to within plan - and make sure you have your HEX's

I only eat a muller yoghurt and fruit for lunch and so far I have been steadily losing. The worst thing for me is that I get really hungry in an evening so tend to eat a lot then.

That's nice to know u only eat that for lunch as well. What do u typically eat the rest of the day Cos we have roughly the same amount of weight to lose and your losses are really good x

I tend to have either weetabix for breakfast or an Alpen Light with fruit. I am not a big morning fan so couldn't do the whole bacon and eggs thing.

I then have a banana / muller / my second Alpen light for lunch.

In an evening I have a big meal usually involving chicken or beef, followed by more fruit or a light Chocolate mousse.

One thing I do though is I snack an awful lot on grapes. I go through about a punnet a day which costs me a fortune. I also always eat between 10 and 15 syns a day and usually have these in an evening.

I don't eat properly at lunchtime as I don't get a lunch break because of the hours I work;I can eat at my desk but because I am constantly interrupted by students it can only be something very easy and non-messy. By the time I finish at 1.30 and get home, it is almost 2pm. Then it's time to go out to get the kids before I know it and the time for lunch has passed. Pre SW I always had a sandwich (shop bought, huge thing with lashings of butter and tuna mayo) but as bread is one of my huge downfalls I have tried to give that up, hence the fruit and yoghurt combo.

You are amazing for even thinking of dieting with a 3 week old - all I could think of was where my next cake would come from!

Thank u for taking the time to reply, will try following something similar to your menu..

I've been quite lucky cos when i was pregnant all I craved was chocolate and cake but that has completely disappeared (thank god :)

X

If you only gave birth 3 weeks ago then you're still recovering from that physically & emotionally & its completely normal to lose your appetite. (i lost my appetite for 6 weeks!) Eat when you feel like it but try and keep your strength up if not, by eating little and often. I found i was grazing on fruit but not eating much else. Your appetite will return in due course. Try not to force it. *hugs*
