Cooked fruit

Hi

I've used to have stewed apple and count it as a Hexb until in a recent sw mag it showed an apple crumble recipe where they simply cooked but didn't stew the fruit and as such sw didn't syn the apples.

I made a bowl of warmed strawberries with vanilla extract yesterday (delicious!) but have now started to doubt the cooked fruit issue and whether it is syn free- I used my Hexb yesterday too.

Can anyone shed any light on this - I know stewed fruit has syns but does cooked fruit?

I looked out the apple and cinnamon crumble recipe from earlier this year (is this the one you mean?)

It says you are 6.5 syns a serving on all plan and looking at the other ingredients that will include syns for the apples.

If you cook fruit then it does need to be synned I'm afraid.

It could be, is that the one with digestives or rich teas crumbled over? I must have read it wrongly as I'd just started at the time!
I've been eating loads of the stuff aswell!
