Hello :wave_cry:

Right have found myself on here thinking of starting exante. I have only just heard about it today after doing some research online - I was initally looking at slim fast but was  at the amount of sugar in the shakes!

Ive done CD before and it was going really well - then I found out I was pregnant :) so I had to stop. My little girl is now 6 months old and I have my 30th bday coming up in about 7 weeks time  I really need to go back onto a vlcd to give me a kick start. Have been looking at the exante website & wasnt sure what you would reccomend ordering in terms of shakes etc? I was thinking of getting a months supply but wasnt sure whether to get a mix of soups and shakes - i am not really fussed about the bars. I didnt really like the soups on CD and much prefered the shakes. any advice would be very welcome! Also could you advise how long it usually takes for the shakes to reach you from the website?

Thank you & I hope the sun is still shining where you are X

It's normally next working day delivery, but as it's bank holiday, I guess if you ordered them now you'd probably get them on Wednesday. If you weren't fussed about bars or soups on CD, then perhaps the shakes pack may be the best for you. Most people coming from CD report that the shakes here are not as sweet, but you can always add some sweetener if you miss it. I did LL, and then found out I was pregnant; and have now returned to a vlcd when she was 1 to get this weight off! Good luck as you get started, whatever you decide to do :)

Hope you have a lovely weekend.

Thanks very much for your reply. I was thinking perhaps the shakes one might be an idea. On CD I had 4 packs per day due to my height - does your height have any impact on how many packs you should have on Exante?

PS I should really proof read my posts before posting, I can normally spell!

I hated the soup on CD so ordered the shakes pack with one token soup to try - it was as bad as the Cambridge one!! x

Ha! Thanks Jubbly. I reckon I will stick to the shakes then. It just crossed my mind that if the weather stays like this I will probably feel much more like having a shake than a soup! Honestly it feels tropical in London, yet another reason to get this weight off.

Ive just started (am on day 4) and I ordered the shake pack. Ive not yet tried banana.. Im working myself up to it! I was a little dissapointed in the chocolate shake, but its prob just a case of getting used to it. Personally I think the LL ones were nicer, but the cost difference makes up for them not being quite to my taste in comparison to LL! Good Luck x

I am now also on day 4 and love all the shakes on Exante compared to Cambridge which I have also tried. They seem to be nice and frothy, I agree not so sweet however that suits me - they are also not so powdery and easier to mix

Thanks guys! :) I do have a sweet tooth but dont like oversweet things in drinks/ shakes etc so I reckon that the shakes will suit me well.

So if I start next Mon I will have 7 weeks until the big 30 - uh oh!

What should I aim to loose in my first 7 weeks?? I am going to put my shake order in on pay day:D
