People who SW Online

Can I ask how much it costs per month after the initial 3 months subscription?

I am not being very good at sticking to it alone. Knowing there are two weeks of bank holidays and then going on a weeks holiday straight afterwards is not helping matters much either. Therefore I am considering whether to join a meeting (I dislike the format of these though), joining online or trying properly to go it alone after my holiday.

Anything from about £12-£15 per month i think depending on how long you subscribe for (the longer you sign up for, the cheaper it is). If you just let it run for a month at a time after your 3 months runs out, I think it's £20.

I think (from memory of the FAQ's on the website) that you can convert to going to group mid way if you want ?

Good luck.

Its £20 a month if you just go month to month after the initial period, but you can get a discount if you sign up and pay for a longer period in one go.

whats the difference between what you get online with SW as opposed to going to group and getting access to the lifeline on line?

I don't know what you get with the lifeline online. But with the online membership you get reminders for weigh in day & supportive emails (as you do it from home), inspirational emails, an online daily diary, syn calculator, snackulator, 1200+ recipes, menus and ideas, success stories, interactive tools, an individual menu plan....loads more but i can't remember! lol

As someone who gets access to both (I mostly do this online but go to group occasionally) the only difference I can see is the recipes (you only get a few if you go to group and get lots for the online membership). I didn't know any difference when I started going but although I love my online membership, it's hard when things aren't so good. However I wouldn't stop it because I can't often get to group. If you can get to group regularly I would probably choose that but if not the website is great for me.

thanks for that gail and rayven.

So if you do it online does that mean you can also go to group? do you pay for group as well as online gail?

K xx

Sadly not. If you do it online and go to group you have to pay as well but if you go to group you get access to the website (albeit with less recipes) with that. I need the prompt to weigh in online when I don't go to group for ages (work and other commitments) so I just pay twice on the weeks that I do go (only once a month or less on average).

Thanks Kerry, I am very pleased too :)

Dedicated - yes, motivated - yes (mostly), perfect - definitely not !! However I just keep at it on the basis that I choose food that I enjoy eating, in quantities that make me happy with a bit of what I like that is counted as syns. So hopefully I have a chance of losing a bit more and keeping this off in the long term.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do. Happy to help if I can.
