Vegetarian?

yes.

try quorn meat alternatives, they are low carb, low fat, high protein!

Ta. I already eat a lot of quorn. Don't know if I could just eat that and nothing else for long though! :)

i prefer it to actual meat, i dont even buy meat products when i cook for the family either, its all vegetarien stuff

Yeah i know, it's good stuff! I'm doing slimming world atm, and you can eat it in unlimited quantities. It's lower fat than chicken and white fish as far as I know...

ooh thats awesome! :)

Congrats on your amazing stats btw! You are the same height as me and I couldn't imagine being that skinny!

still got a long way to go! im building up muscle (trying to at least) so my aim is high muscle, low (14%) body fat.
started off at 22% body fat

Soya mince is good, and and also you can eat cottage cheese in small quantities. Some are fairly low carbs, high protein.

There is a book on low carving for vegetarians, can't remember what it's called, I bought it years ago. Can't find it now though!

Rose Elliot has written a whole book on low carbbing for veggies, there is also a cookbook she has written. Try amazon xx

I'm going to check that out, still can't find mine, thanks

Oooohhhhh this thread was just what I was looking for. :)

I've got 2 stone to lose after reaching a stop on my old sw diet. However, the eating meat bit was going to be a struggle switching to low carb lol

Feeling quite motivated now xx

ive just got the rose elliot book the vegetarian low carb diet. Quorn seems to be a bit higher in carbs than recommended for phase one, i know its fairly low carb but for the amount of carbs you have allocated for phase one, you dont get to eat much if you stock up on quorn. Also its recommended that low carb shouldnt also be low fat. It should be fairly high fat, because you eat good fats not bad ones
