Eek! I've turn all evangelical! - a neighbour's mum stopped me and commented on my losses. Her daughter then joined and started quizzing me. Suffice to say I told them all about SW and the magic we do.

They're only joining local class next week:D

I feel so good about this I've offered to help them with all sorts of tips, recipes - hell even offered to show them or cook them their fave meals SW style lol.

They were genuinely astonished by my loss but like most of us doubt their own chances. They were amazed when I told them what I catually can eat and not just the "rabbit food" they thought I was going to say.

Anyone else "spreading the good word"?

I always offer info if anyone asks my mum cant believe what you can eat on SW
 
Well done and i;ve told all who have asked me about it as people have noticed. Though not as good as you with getitng people to come along. Most of them make excuses ohh i want to loose weight but i wouldnt possibly do that(followed by most other diet and or healthy changes excuses lol). Meh each to there own. Feeling so good with slimming world. Finally stopped talking about loosing weight and doing something constructive about it and this time next year(hopefully before ;) ) I will be at target :D
 
well done :) ive got my mother and sister to join in the last couple of weeks and i got another guy to join online!

Yep I've got two people on SW - Shame they didn't do a referral scheme!!! :D
 
Well you do get free weeks when you introduce people. Typically, this is no relevance to me now as I get free for reaching target anyway!

Still, I figure starting someone else on the road to health and happiness is reward enough.

Blimey, this halo needs a polish;)
 
Me too got a friend starting here in sunny Spain and she will need loads of help. She is a sweetie and it might just put me back on track !!!!
 
So far, hastalavegan, my brother, my mum, and a woman that works in the supermarket have joined as a result of my progress. I tell everyone who asks.
 
People ask what diet I'm doing, I tell them about SW, they don't do anything about it! I have made quite a few recipes though, and gotten lots of praise and requests for encores! And passed a magazine on to my aunty earlier this week as she was complaining about her weight, although she weighs well under 8st... I wish I could tell the whole world to eat SW-ly!! xxx
 
I think I have inspired quite a few people to start. A couple of work colleagues and a neighbour who had previously lost about 8 stone but put some of that back on has restarted. I love SW and have spoken to lots of people about it. If I can help someone else, that's brilliant. However I also know that I had to be in 'the right place' to do this so I hope that I'm not pushy, just supportive.

Thanks Aisling. I can't quite believe it myself ! I just started doing this 8 months ago and kept doing it and to my surprise, here I am ! You are doing great too - you must be feeling fantastic :)

wow your an inspiration :) yeah i do feel much better about myself, im finally fitting into a size 14 too i didnt realise how much id changed until i looked at my pictures from a few months ago...
 
Well, so far I've got my mum, 2 people at work, 1 person where I used to work, 2 people at church and one of the cleaners at the gym to go along to Slimming World!
And another one is still hmmm-ing and haa-ing about whether to go or not.

I tell everybody how brilliant it is, and the difference it's made in me!
 
Same here, three people at my work, 1 friend back home in belfast, my aunt and my sister! :)
