Eeeeee excited!!

I know that this doesn't really have anything to do with Calorie Counting but in a weird way, it kind of does as it's part of my reasoning behind wanting to lose weight!

Anyway, I started applying for PGCE courses (to qualify as a teacher) in February and I just hit wall after wall, mainly because I was in Thailand. There are only really 3 Universities that are near my parents to apply to and one said no based on my degree topic, another took 6 weeks to say that they were full!!! And then the 3rd said no as well about 2 weeks ago. I went back to the 3rd one and asked why it was a no and they said it was because of my UK experience not being guaranteed to be completed by the interview dates, even though it definitely is. So I explained it to her and she said she'd send it back to the course leader but it was very unlikely that they'd interview me because the 3 dates were then full.

I got a letter today... I have an interview on the 10th of May!!! So extremely excited and nervous and just ahhhh!! I can't even begin to explain how badly I want this, I never felt so passionate about anything in my life. Nor have I ever loved a job so much! I actually wanted to get up every morning and go to school, I genuinely loved it! And now I'm back and doing bar work and I just feel... I don't know. I've found what I want to do and nothing compares to it! So yeah, I'm extremely happy! I now have a lot of preparation to do =/

This is all a major part of why I'm getting my butt in gear and losing weight. I want to be more confident in myself. I want to feel better about myself. I want to have more energy for teaching. I want to be able to run around and do PE etc and it not be a problem. Definitely the motivation I need right now, hopefully I'll get a place to motivate me even more!

So happy and excited right now that this is a real possibility! Eeeeeee and breathe!!
