Yet Another "Hi" Dukan virgin here

Hi everyone, starting the Dukan diet on Friday with my hubby. Started to clear out all the food stuff we wont be able to eat and packing away all the Rice, Pasta etc that have been real store cupboard favourites in the past. This is probably my 100th attempt to lose weight and hopefully this time I will keep it off. Used WW, SW, Cambridge, Atkins and just cutting down but they all end up with me putting back every single pound I've lost plus even more, but now it's serious, 47 years old and far too heavy.....this can only end one way!! So I'm going to do something about it and with my husband doing it too surely we can't fail?? Although after reading the book and then reading forums there is a lot of contradicting advise and I'm getting more and more confused with it. So any help on proper water amounts to drink (can you really drink too much by going over 2 ltrs), and why suddenly the unlimited amounts of everything listed in the book have now become 1kg of the nonfat dairy products on the internet?
