Last night I went to the kitchen to prepare my 'evening meal' - a chocolate shake, eagerly anticipated.
I prepared the equipment - 10 seconds. Opened the pack with scissors - as usual. Then I noticed that the pack had been stored folded in half. As I poured the powder into the jug for mixing some precious brown powder escaped from the side of the pack on to the work top. A pending disaster!
Within 2 seconds my thought processes were as follows:
- Shall I wet my finger and retrieve the powder and place directly in my mouth?
- Was the lost powder equivalent to a teaspoon of high quality cocoa powder?
- Was the 'lost' powder equivalent to a square of 'Green and Black?
- Was the 'lost' powder equivalent to a small Easter egg?
- Was the 'lost' powder equivalent to a large Easter egg?
- Am I now totally nuts!
Congratulations me - no action taken. Drank the chocolate shake and laughed heartedly at my ingrained rules and life long habits.
