What days do you follow? Red, green or Easy Extra?

Do you like salad or veg?

What's your typical day like meal wise?

Make a SW quiche with lots of veggies - if I'm hungry between meals a slice of that usually puts me on until the next meal.

Hello Kankles, i tend to follow the red/green days as i really dont understand the ee ones.. I'm sooooo bad wih fruit and veg i know its bad, i eat veg but like with meals and salad i just have never eaten. I wish i could munch on a leaf but i just can't do it hahaha...

I dont help myself really, i keep asking people how would i eat fruit to make it more exciting but not fatty! So i dont know if making jelly n sticking some in that would work! Aghhhh i just don't want eat choc, i do eat the muller yogs but there is only so many of them u can have b4 i get fed up n want something different!

I tend to start of with bran flakes and then at dinner have beans on toast or poached egg then for my tea have chicken, potatoes, pasta it varies. I work in a kiddies home so food is on tap which aint easy espec if ur out on a activity, thats a killer coz i end up grabbing what i can... x x

How about pasta salad? Lots of pasta, peppers (cooked and cooled if preferred), Spring onions, sliced green beans, apple and pear with a squeeze of leom juice over the fruit to stop it browning, add FF fromage fraise and plenty of seasoning and you have something free to nibble on.

Or roasted veg, peppers, onions, courgettes, aubergine, butternut squash, with a pkt of savoury rice.

I'm no good with red days they make me feel ick!

There has been some good suggestions here, but you might like to think about why it is you need to feel full all the time?

There is actually nothing wrong with feeling hungry. Not all the time, obviously, but feeling hungry as you get towards meal times is normal.

I find that making a huge saucepan of soup at the beginning of the week, I refrigerate half of it and freeze the rest, it helps a lot, as I can then make myself a mug of soup which fills me up and it's warm which is a added bonus :)

For me the key to feeling full is getting enough protein. Once I'd read that protein keeps you fuller for longer I started snacking more on hard boiled eggs/ham/chicken/crabsticks etc.
I never snack on fruit, it makes me more hungry because I'm very sensitive to the natural sugars in it.

Hi there,
Just a thought, I know you said you don't like salad which is fine. But I never used to like it until I tried with it to make it look more appealing/colourful. I wouldn't dream of eating just a green salad, hardly a taste sensation!!!! Instead I have green leaves (usually prepared in a bag from tesco) with red pepper, sweetcorn, cucumber, beetroot, cherry tomatoes, and some tuna or cottage cheese or ham to add to the taste. If you really don't like salad that's fair enough, but it maybe worth a shot? You might be surprised!
Also if your not big on fruit maybe a banana might be good, either whole as a snack or chopped up on cereal? You don't have to eat as much banana as you would other fruits to feel full :)
Stick with it and keep looking on the food diaries and low syn treat ideas, they really helped me :) xxxxx
