Room for another?

Hope you don't mind me posting.

My name is Natalie, I'm 24 years old and I'm married with 2 little girls. I started Exante on the 14th January and in 13 weeks I've gone from 210lbs to 157lbs. I still have a few more lbs to go to get to my goal weight, so I'm joining SW with my dad. He has been a member since December and has lost 3 stone in that time! We're all so proud of him! :)

Exante was the kick start I needed, and over the last 4 weeks I have been adding meals and reducing the packs. I finished my last pack yesterday so I'm officially off the diet!

My partner works shifts so I cannot go to the meetings, and with having 2 little girls and currently being a SAHM I cannot afford the online membership. Dad will help me when I need it, and has been lending me his books so I can read up on everything.

I have been studying the forum over the last few weeks and have gained so much information, so thank you everyone for posting, it is really helpful!

Hope you're all okay, and I hope you don't mind me posting :)

on well done on you're great loss so far. You sound so organized, good luck:D

Thank you :D

You've done so well so far! Well done!! :D You will find this site so useful - I've been using it since January and really couldn't be without it. I pay to go to class each week as I feel the weigh-in keeps me motivated, but I never stay for class because I don't feel it's beneficial to me (some groups are better than others and mine is one of the not so great ones)

I get pretty much any info I could possibly need from this site - so this, along with your dad's knowledge, will be all you need :D Good luck!! :D

Hello and welcome to the best plan around;) try and find time to start a food diary in the section above in the subforums this helps us to support you welldone on your loss so far i was going to say dont feel downhearted if you sts or gain when you first start but i notice you have already started to introduce meals and finished your packs so just good kuck and enjoy the rest of your weight loss journey x.:)

If you also look in subforums there are monthly challanges, weekly weigh in threads etc. If you are not going to class it might help keep you motivated.

welcome and congrats on your great weight loss! This is a great site and will help keep you motivated if you dont go to a class(like me!)

HI , I started SW last week after a long time on Cambridge . I am doing the race for life in 3 weeks and need to start some excersise and just wasnt able to do it on 430 calories a day ...so SW it is , and its fabulous :D

What plan are you planning on doing ??? I am doing red at the moment as I am a carb sponge and retain water like a camel !!!

Good luck and if you need any help just shout ( and dont forget that if you are going straight from exante onto SW you will gain the first week as you will refill your carb / glycogen store ..I gained 14 lb ( although I knew I would as 14 lb was always my first weeks loss on CD !) but started loosing again the 2nd week :D )

Thank you lolacola! :D Well done on your loss so far! You've done amazing!!!!

Thank you chocaslim! :D I have a diary on the Exante forum, which I am carrying on with. I don't know if I should move it over here, or leave it there  I've weaned myself off Exante over the past 4 weeks, anf although only a few people have commented in it, I hope it will help other people come off a VLCD and back into the 'real world' of food.

Thank you cindersmcphee! :D I'll have a look around and see what I can find! :)

Thank you letskeeplosing! :) How do you motivate yourself with not going to the classes? If you don't mind me asking.

Thank you Katty :D

Thank you determinator! :D I've been glancing through my dad's books, and I've got some meal ideas from his extra easy book, and looking through his introduction kinda book, I think the green plan will suit me best :) How did you go from CD to SW? I started weaning myself off Exante 4 weeks ago. I did 2 weeks of adding 1 meal with my 3 packs, 1 week of 2 meals and 2 packs and then 1 week of 3 meals and 1 pack. I finished my final pack on Saturday and have been off the diet since :D
