Well second time round for me, last time was a challenge to say the least! Thankfully this time the head seems in a better place and things are going well.

Started April 4th, first weigh in last week and lost 9 lb. Coped far better with the first week than I expected, very little of the awful withdrawals. Mind you probably couldn't have felt much worse than what I normally do of a morning. lol.

So what am I going to do differently this time :-
1) Write a journal.
2) Use the forum for support.
3) Keep going till I get to goal.
4) Fix my head rather than just loose weight.
5)Complete route to management, boy what an important one that is from hindsight!

So here's to getting to know you all, and let the fun begin :D

Good luck Clara - you have come the right place for support - the folk on here are fab - and very inspiring!! xx

Thanks Hannah, last time I was a lurker on the boards. Got loads out of reading the diaries, so thought it was time to contribute.

How is the secont time for you ? Something must have clicked with me this time finding it a great deal easier. Mind you being in my own house helps, I can clear it of all temptation.

Was sorely tempted by the smell of take away in the street today, at my peak weakness time at the end of working day. All passed with out mishap, no dodgy thoughs hardly at all. I also had two food packs left, came home and dived on a peanut bar. Note to self when I reintroduce food, beware the after work desparation and plan food to eat when I come in.

Weigh in tomorrow .. tally ho !

Hi Clara. I am finding it easier this time around although it's still tough at times. Good luck hun. Xxxxx:doggy:

Hi Clara

Thanks for the comment in my diary.
It does get easier as you go along with a few (?) odd cravings here and there - nothing we ladies can't handle, right?
Tons of support in here and it is safe.

I wish you MUCH success in here, good luck in your WI tonight and can't wait to hear how much you lost, and your thoughts.

tc
xx

Good luck for your WI xx

Evening ladies

Done really well with the weigh in - 6lb! RESULT!

Also coped with a pretty grim day, without resorting to food. Kicked off the day with horrendous stomach pain, so much so a trip to the GP. And guess what I have COLIC! What the hell is that about lol Only babies have colic so i thought, felt a right nana. Painful though. Any tips with how to manage it would be grand.

Also need to rehome my dog. Despite making my garden resemble Fort Nox, he managed to get into next doors garden and attack their dog. Not the first time this has happened, he has a real problem with being aggressive with other dogs. typical staff. What made it worse next door's little girl was out in the garden playing with the dog. Thankfully she was not harmed, but was terribly upset. Cant take the risk with him where I am living, I would never forgive myself if something happened. So my rescue dog needs rehoming. Really gutted, and feel as if I have failed.:sigh:

Anyway onwards and downwards.

Aw mixed day of emotions for you hunny, I feel for you!

I think Camomile tea is good for Colic, could be wrong but I think thats what I gave my kids when they were babies, that and tons of gripe water lol.

Well done on the 6lb thats amazing!

Gutted for you with regards to your dog, but I totally understand your concerns for both other animals and childrens well being. I really hope you find someone who has the right kind of enviroment for your lovely dog to live in.

Keep your chin up hun xx

Thanks my lovely really kind of you to post. I just cant put the little girl through that again. Devoted to my dog but .... little ones come first.
