YES it's possible!

Hi all, have just stumbled across you
Hope this helps people rather than pee you off!

I'm Caroline, 34 and have a gorgeous wee 14 month old

Periods arrived when I was 11! Awful, heavy and caused years of misery
Starting gaining weight and at heaviest was over 17 stone
Put on pill from age 13
Came off pill aged 27 when told I have pcos
Hairs on chin started when I was 18 and just got worse over the years
Periods seemed to stop about 24 and maybe got 5 a year?
Given metformin when I was 28, didn't really agree with me and too be honest I didn't really try
Tried again when I was 30 for about 3 months lost wee bit of weight and really was getting frustrated not conceiving
Tried 3rd time lucky again only last couple months, make me feel sick
Went for a hy coy soy thing! (spelling)

2 years on was still attending fertility clinic was about to start
Clomid and low and behold I was pregnant
Brill pregnancy
And now 14 months after c section I get periods roughly 6 weeks or so ( great for me)
Hairy chin still there but hey never mind il deal with that!

Hang on in there peeps, it's hard but it is possible

Caroline

Thanks for sharing your story Caroline! I'm only 22 so not thinking about a family yet, but I'm pleased to hear it's not all doom and gloom and it can still be possible to have a family with PCOS :)
