Help re: London - cycle hire

Hi guys

For those of you that work/live in London; has any of you used the cycle hire in London (the one launched last year by Boris Johnson)?

If so can I ask you a few questions?

Used it a few times. They are really quite heavy ( probably to stop them being nicked!) so you either need to be quite strong, or not expect to go very fast!

I used it when we went to London in February. Only used it for the day but if I can help I will.
