Leeks?

They're nice done in a chicken pie - with lots of veg and topped with a mix of sweet and normal potato mashed. Bit of gravy too x

In the most recent mag there is a receipe for a leek & potato layer pie thingy. I'm at work at mo & won't be home until later so sorry not able to give you more info.

I made creamy leeks - chop up with onion and garlic and boil in stock until reduces right down, take off heat add fromage frais and quark - yummy!!!!

Sounds amazing!!

I remember one of the mags had a recipe for Chicken and Leek pie with a SW chips topping, can't quite remember which issue though sorry :(

I like leeks done in a Morrisons cheese sauce packet (1 syn) and an ounce of low fat cheddar (1 HA)

What i do with leeks is make antipasta with em. Boil the leeks until tender (if there big top and tail and cut up into about 3-4 peices) the boiling should take about 10 mins. Drain them and leave them to cool. The make a dressing out of balsamic vinegar (if you want you could syn some olive oil or depending what plan your on use a table spoon as a healthy extra b and put that in too), finely chopped garlic, and salt and pepper. Stir and cover the leeks with it and allow the dressing to soak in.
